It is entirely normal for people to go through stages of life. This are developments that would help them build their personality until they became adults and they have their live figured out. The beginning stage where most kids improve mentally and acquires maturity is when they became young adults at the age of late nineties till they reach their early twenties. This would apparently be one of the most challenging area of growth knowing that there is going to be so many changes, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. Being a teenager means feeling so many different emotions within the day and they are not used to it. This merry go round of emotion could possibly last for a longer time and could cause serious risks. The changes that is caused by this development could either be a good thing and a bad thing at once.

Adults who could explain what is happening should be able to guide them well so their questions on their head are all answered in a way they would understand. When they do not receive the help they need, they eventually have problems controlling it. Adults and family members should be aware of the signs they indicate so that early possibility of serious issue about themselves will be treated.

Sometimes parents would just think that being moody and cranky is normal for teenagers to feel and it will just be a phase. But little did everyone know, mood swings can be a reason for youngsters to feel confusion about their feeling and controlling it can be hard. The most common mental problems that teenagers are experiencing are autism, anxiety, depression and behavioral disorders. Statistic shows that male are most like to have autism and ADHD while women are commonly suffering from anxiety. One commonly acquire such problems once and if they were raised in a family that abuses them physically or sexually.

Depression is usually a strong sense of sadness and anger that is quite overwhelming to carry. Being depressed would often make one feel constant pain like stomach ache and headache. Additionally, constant thought about death is running through their head because they feel worthless.

Anxiety may come hand in hand with depression where this allows person to feel extreme fear, trauma, panicking and more. Because of that feeling, they often became unresponsive to people and are overly emotional when alone. Room with lots of people makes them uneasy too and usually gets social anxiety.

Eating disorder can be classified into two types, anorexia and bulimia. Anorexia is an eating problem where person eats only a small amount of food or they never eat all. Bulimia is overeating of foods they do not need and purging them after. Usually women who have either of the two are suffering from pressure that is gradually put on their shoulder.

Seeing such symptoms on friend and family, the best thing to do is ask help from physicians. Mental issues are something that should not be underestimated because it can cause a huge problem when neglected. There are suitable treatments and medication so that the thoughts are controlled.
