You know Jesus Christ: he's the son of God, savior of man and the God in Flesh. He's the reason for Christianity. He's the one that people look up to in the church, all nailed to the cross. He's the inspiration of many believers in God. He's the one you will always pray to every night. But through all these years in believing in Jesus Christ, have you ever wondered to yourself: Is Jesus real?
When Jesus raises the dead, it's not really the purpose of making them rise as zombies. He raises the dead because he has compassion for his brothers and sisters (this is a reference to the people of the world). He's done a few "raise the dead" events as depicted in the Bible. In one event, he puts someone named Lazarus back alive because he wanted to show the people that those who believe in him will rise with him. It took a few days but in the end, Lazarus was alive again. In another event, Jesus gave the life of a dead man who meant so much to a woman crying in front of his coffin.
But why is Jesus doing this? Why should he give life back to people who are dead? Besides the reason that he says "those who believe in him will rise with him". He also raises the dead for those who show worship. This happened when a majestic ruler came to him to ask that his daughter be alive once again. Jesus heard this and when he touched the girl's hand, she came back alive and well.
Jesus has met ridicule and criticism for his power to raise the dead because it's not quite a thing most humans can do. Some of them are in disbelief someone can actually do that. But as it stands, they're always in skepticism to see if raising the dead can actually be done. Jesus isn't raising the dead as some gig or event to make people like him more. He's doing this because he's trying to show people that he is the son of God. He's showing others in a metaphorical way to believe in him. If it has to be raising the dead, he will do it.
Another find was the separation of myth from reality. Many people who read the Bible know a lot about Jesus' attitude. But does it reflect reality? Even non-believers have been investigating on and on about Jesus' life and how it can be put together into reality. And so far, investigators have seen scriptures and manuscripts that hold true of the Bibles' accounts especially those in the New Testament. This evidence shows that although Jesus may not be real, there could have been someone who emitted a similar aura to that of Jesus. So they can conclude that Jesus may be just a metaphorical image and that someone else was Jesus. So far, there is no conclusion to this. So is Jesus real or not? No one knows for sure. The investigation still goes on. But whatever you want to believe in, stick to it. Don't just go claim to your friends, "Hey, Jesus doesn't exist!" Respect what others believe in because you'll never know what'll happen once the day comes that Jesus does exist.
