An encounter with God is among the most fulfilling experiences. Here, the Almighty usually shows His people the level of love he has for them. It is something that happens to each and every individual. The only difference is, some never get to notice that it has happened to them.
The experience can be in two possible forms. It may be one very good and fulfilling one, or one that is very discouraging but transforming. The bad encounters are not really fashioned by God. These usually happen to those people upon whom the grace of god has always been sufficient. Unfortunately, they end up despising Christ and even calling him a poor performer.
He may decide to show him his mighty power by allowing the devil to harm his life. This usually happens in the event of his sinning. After realizing that serving the devil is doing him no good, and then he finally turns to God. These eventually become the strongest believers, since they have tasted either side.
The good experiences also can happen to the good people or even the bad ones. Here, Christ Jesus allows very marvelous things to happen in the life of a person. The person may consider it the grace of god upon their lives, or the mighty favor of Christ upon their undeserving lives. The Lord may insist on giving people good experiences so that they can get to realize that with their own struggles, all is in vain.
The people that are most despised, neglected or hated in society may be the ones that experience this goodness. These people may have really though Christ does not exist, until He personally manifests to them that He is there, and that he primarily died for them. They later on get to understand that whether neglected and forsaken, Christ still died for them.
Those that are for him may also at times get discouragements. These discouragements may tend to disorient them from their belief in the existence of Christ. The Lord is aware of such traps, and these being his people, He never ever leaves them alone. He always will do something to remind them that He still exists and that they should never stop serving him.
These experiences normally come in different forms. Some may be in the form of miracles upon the life of an individual, while others may be in the form of events in the lives of others. However, most people normally wait upon the Lord to give them back their sight if they are blind, for them to believe that He is there. These are the kind of people that insist that God is not there, because they can never look beyond having him fulfill their desires.
An encounter with God is such an amazing experience. It comes in highly diversified ways. People may never get to realize the experiences, but a time finally comes for every individual. These are the times when people now choose to work and live for the Lord.
