Using The Greatest Secret Of Change

By Evan Sanders

The secret of change is to focus everything on creating what you can in the present, and letting yourself slip out of the past and the future.

How will we really change?

I am not talking about the sort of change that lasts for just a few months and then we go back to similar things we really always used to do. No, I am talking about that everlasting change that springs us to advance with our lives and leave our old ways behind. This is true change, change that will last forever. The secret is to commit everything you have in your life to building what you can in the present moment.

The past will hold you down and the future will show you the greatest lie and mirage of a land where it all turns out. Both these imaginary places are stupendously threatening because they keep us from being in action in the moment. Even though we can go there in our heads, we have to avoid living in these places at all costs.

Change isn't going to be easy. Think about how many people really try to make huge changes the on the first of the year. In fact, almost half of people who make New Years Resolutions fail by February. That disconnect is huge. So there must be something incredibly broken with that system.

So what can we actually do?

Focus all your energy one thing, every day, to make yourself a smidge better than the day before and do that for as long as you really can. Do not get obsessed over the quantum leap where everything changes all at the same time - it's a lie. Heavily focus on the daily tasks you can perform and over a period of time you will change more than you could really ever imagine.

Start the voyage of change at this moment, one step at a time.

Don't wait.
