You Have Far Greater Competition Than Others

By Evan Sanders

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit." - Aristotle

Don't ever compete with others. You're better than that.

Maybe you're asking, "Should I compete with myself?" No, don't do that either. You're still better than that.

No you deserve a different breed of competition.

Try competing with what you are capable of.

It's time to battle with the ghost of the individual you could become. Because if you enter into the arena looking to challenge that, you will become far greater than anything you may have ever dreamed of.

You could become something incredibly special.

So make a deacons to come to the table every single day with your best shot at life. Of course there are going to be times where you wake up feeling muggy, but you have to pick yourself up and get out into the game of life because you are up against an opponent who is feeling good all of the time. Your potential is already 5 steps ahead of you.

But what is that potential?

That's only an answer that you can actually give yourself. But what I can tell you is that your potential is simply a bit better than you at everything in life. They run faster than you, they work harder than you, they lift more, they talk to more girls or guys, they make a room burst with laughter and anything else you are able to think of.

Chase this person like you were a crazy man chasing happiness.

The thing is you shouldn't be intimidated by this. Sure, you will never basically reach those moments where you outshine your potential in competition. It's not really about that. Instead, it's about growing into an individual that is constantly improving upon themselves and growing.

If you can compete with your potential, it is possible to see a bright new future. That, more than anything, is worth its weight in gold.

What is your potential? What are you capable of?

Become someone amazing.
